Al ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF BEAUIONT AMENDING SECTION 3
OF ORDINANCE NO. 37, DECLARING CERTAIN THINGS TO BE
MISDEMEANORS, AND PROVIDING A PENALTY FOR THE VIOLATION
THEREOF.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 3 of Ordinance No. 37 is hereby amended to read as
follows:
Section 3. It shall be unlawful for any person to be drunk or
in a state of intoxication in or on any public street, public
highway or alley, park or other public place, or to consume
alcoholic beverages on a public street, or public highway or
alley, whether in a vehicle or not.
The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this Ordinance
and shall cause the same to be published once in the Beaumont
Gazette, a newspaper of general circulation, published in the
City of Beaumont.
ADOPTED this 28th. day of November, 1956.

regular meeting thereof held on the 28th. day of November,1956,
