Before an application for relocation may be applied for, a termite certificate must be secured and. deposited with the Department of Building and Safetlr n the City of Beaumont. An application for relocation must he obtained for each separate building for which a fee of Twenty (20.00) Dollars is required. 2). An inspection will be made of the buildings to determine their present condition. Requirements necessary to reconstruct the building to meet present day code requirements will be entered on a check sheet. The owner or agent wi11 receive one copy showing the required correction, if the bLrild inM is acceptable for relocation. T^.th the City -3.eilding Inspector. The Planning Commission shall hear at that time, =111 persons who may appear to support or protest the granting of the application. The Commission ^Nall recommend that the Council either grant or deny the application, provided, nowever, that if twenty-five percent (25.) or more by number of the property owners within the zone of interest protest the Granting of the application. The Com:,jssion may recommend the granting of a permit only by unanimous vote. The said recommendation shall he presented to the City Council for its approval or its rejection or modification. 3). The applicant must obtain a performance bond in the amount shown on check sheet and will present a performance bond to the Department of Building and Safety to obtain a reconstruction, electrical, plumbing and also roving permit. All proper reconstruction inspections must be made by the Buklding Inspector and the work to be completed rritdn one hundred and twenty (120) days from the expiration date of the moving permit. 5). Occupancy of the building will not be permitted until the final inspection has been made and approved by the Building Inspector. After the building has been approved and the final inspection made, the Department of Building and Safety for ie City of Beaumont will release the performance bond.
