ORDINANCE NO. 85 -573
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF TEMPLE CITY APPROVING A CHANGE OF
ZONE FROM R -1 TO R -2 (Z.C. 85 -769).
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY DOES ORDAIN:
SCTION 1. Based upon a Public Hearing for a change
Of gone at 4809 Ha 1.1oweli. Avenue from R -1 to R -2, the City
Counci3. f i.nds
1. That the request for a change of zone from
R -1 to R -2 is consistent with the General
Plan.
2. That the request for a change of zone from
R -1 to R -2 is compatible with the zoning
classification of adjacent properties.
3. That the request for a change of zone from
R -1 to R -2 will permit uses which are compatible
with other land uses in the area.
Furthermore, the Zoning Map of this City is amended accordingly.
SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage and
adoption of this Ordinance and shall cause the same to be published
according to law.
APPROVED, PASSED and ADOPTED this 15th day of October, 1985.

hereby certify that the foregoing. Ordinance, being Ordinance
No. 85 -573, was introduced at a regular meeting of the City
Council of the City of Temple City held onthe 1st day of October,
1985, and duly passed, approved, and adopted by said Council,
approved and signed by the Mayor and attested by the City Clerk,
at a regular meeting of said City Council held on the 15th day
of October 1985, by the following. vote:
AYES: Councilmen- Atkins, Gillanders, Swain, Dennis
NOES: Councilmen -None
ABSENT: Councilmen -None
