AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 132 FIXING THE TIMES OF THE
REGULAR MEETINGS OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT.
The City Council of the City of Beaumont does ordain as
follows:
Section 1. Regular meetings of the City Council shall be
held at such times and places as may be fixed by Resolution duly
adopted by the City Council.
Section 2. If a regular meeting of the City Council shall
fall on a legal holiday, such meeting shall be held on the next
succeeding Wednesday not a legal holiday.
Section 3. No notice shall be required for any regular
meeting of the City Council.
Section 4. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in so
far as they conflict with this ordinance are hereby repealed.
Section 5. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage
and adoption of this ordinance and shall cause the same to be
published once in the Beaumont Gazette, a newspaper of general
circulation, published, printed and circulated in the City of
Beaumont, and thirty days after its adoption, this ordinance
shall be in full force and effect.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 13th. day of May,1959.

I hereby certify that the foregoing ordinance was introduced and
read in full at a regular meeting of the City Council of the
City of Beaumont duly held on the 29th. day of April,1959, and
was duly adopted at a regular meeting of said City Council duly
held on the 13th. day of May,1959, by the following vote:
AYES: Councilmen Nunez, Graham and Figgins.
NOES: Councilmen None.
ABSENT: Councilmen Bridges and Coverdale.
