AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 2$2 WITH RESPECT TO RE-
ZONi1 G CERTAIN PROP?,,RTY FROM hI TO C2, FROM Cl TO 02 AND BY
ADDING A NEW SUB -SECTION PERMITTING ADDITIONS TO EXISTING
DWELLINGS IN THE M ZONE.
The City Council of the City of Beaumont does ordain as follows:
1. Pursuant to the recommendation of the Planning Commission of
the City of Beaumont, that area lying between the middle of
California Avenue to the middle of Michigan Avenue from the North
boundary of the Freeway right of way to the present South boundary
of the City's C-2 zone is hereby re -zoned from to C-2; and
Lots 11, 13 and 15 of Block 70, as shown on the Amended Map
of the City of Beaumont, as recorded in Book 6, pages 16 and 17
of Maps, Records of San Bernardino County, California, are re-
zoned from C-1 to C-2, as defined in Ordinance No. 282 of the
City of Beaumont.
2. Section 1, Article 11 of Ordinance No. 2$2 is hereby amended
by adding thereto a new sub -section to be designated as Sub-
section (42), and to read as follows:
(42) Bathrooms, bedrooms, garages or other
additions necessary or incidental to the use
of existing residential dwellings may be added
thereto.
3. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage and adoption of
this ordinance and shall cause the same to be published once in
the Beaumont Gazette, a newspaper of general circulation, pub-
lished, printed and circulated in the City of Beaumont, and thirty
days after its adoption, this ordinance shall be in full force
and effect.
