is hereby approved and said territory is hereby annexed to and
incorporated in the City of Beaumont, County of Riverside, State
of California, and is hereby designated as Beaumont Annexation No.
Section 3: That from and after the effective date of this
ordinance and the filing of a certified copy thereof with the
Secretary of State of the State of California, the annexation
shall be deemed to be and shall be completed and thenceforth such
annexed territory shall be, to all intents and purposes, a part
of the City of Beaumont, and from and after the effective date of
such annexation, all property therein shall be subject to taxa-
tion equally with the property within the City of Beaumont.
Section 4: The Mayor shall sign this ordinance and the
City Clerk shall attest thereto and shall cause the same to be
published once in the Beaumont Gazette, a newspaper, printed,
published and circulated in said City of Beaumont, and thereupon
and thereafter this ordinance shall take effect and be in force
according to law.

California, do hereby certify that the foregoing ordinance was
instroduced at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City
of Beaumont, California, duly held on the 15th day of July, 1959,
and thereafter at an adjourned regular meeting of said City
Council duly held on the 22nd day of July, 1959, was duly passed
and adopted by the following vote:
