HomeMy Public PortalAboutOrdinance 313ORDINANCE NO. 313 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT FIXING COMPENSATION OF THE CITY CLERK AND THE CITY TREASURER, AND REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES AND FARTS OR ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT THEREWITH. THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. That beginning with the new term of office of the City Clerk, commencing in April, 1960, the compensation of the City Clerk of the City of Beaumont shall be and it is hereby fixed at the rate of Four Hundred Fifty Dollars, ($450.00) per month. Section 2. That beginning with the new term of office of the City Treasurer, commencing in April, 1960, the compensation of the City Treasurer of the City of Beaumont shall be and it is hereby fixed at the rate of Three Hundred Fifty Dollars ($350.00) per month. Section 3. Ordinance No. 219 of the City of Beaumont is hereby specifically repealed, and allother ordinances and parts o ordinances insofar as they are in conflict with this ordinance are hereby repealed. Section 4. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage and adoption of this ordinance and shall cause the same to be published once in the Beaumont Gazette, a newspaper of general circulation, published, printed and circulated in the City of Beaumont, and thirty days after its adoption, this ordinance shall be in full.. force and effect. PASSED AND ADOPTED this 29t. -day of February, 1960.
