AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT FIXING COMPENSATION OF THE
CITY CLERK AND THE CITY TREASURER, AND REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES
AND FARTS OR ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT THEREWITH.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That beginning with the new term of office of
the City Clerk, commencing in April, 1960, the compensation of
the City Clerk of the City of Beaumont shall be and it is hereby
fixed at the rate of Four Hundred Fifty Dollars, ($450.00) per
month.
Section 2. That beginning with the new term of office of the
City Treasurer, commencing in April, 1960, the compensation of
the City Treasurer of the City of Beaumont shall be and it is
hereby fixed at the rate of Three Hundred Fifty Dollars ($350.00)
per month.
Section 3. Ordinance No. 219 of the City of Beaumont is
hereby specifically repealed, and allother ordinances and parts o
ordinances insofar as they are in conflict with this ordinance are
hereby repealed.
Section 4. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage
and adoption of this ordinance and shall cause the same to be
published once in the Beaumont Gazette, a newspaper of general
circulation, published, printed and circulated in the City of
Beaumont, and thirty days after its adoption, this ordinance shall
be in full.. force and effect.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 29t. -day of February, 1960.

I, Bernice Conine, Clerk of the City of Beaumont, hereby certify
that the foregoing ordinance, being Ordinance No. 313 of the City
of Beaumont was introduced and read at a regular meeting of the
City Councilof said City, held on the 29th day of February, 1960,
and was passed and adopted by the said Council at a regular meet-
ing of said Council duly held on the 29th day of February, 1960,
by the following Vote:
AYES: Councilmen
McClellan, Houston, Allen, Moore and Campbell
NOES: Councilmen None.
ABSENT: Councilmen i`•ione.
