ORDINANCE NO. 320
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 6 OF ARTICLE 4 OF
ORDINANCE NO. 22 OF THE CITY OF BEAUYONT TO
PROVIDE FOR A REDUCTION OF THE MINIMITY: AREA OF A
LOT OR PARCEL IN THE R-1 ZONE FRON ,000 SQUARE
FEET TO 6,000 SQUARE FEET.
The City Council of the City of Beaumont does ordain as
follows:
Section 1. Article 4, Section 5 of Ordinance No. 22 of the
City of Beaumont is hereby amended by substituting for Section C
of Article 4 a new Section 6 which shall read as follows:
Article 4, Section 6: Area. The required minmurn
area of a lot or parcel in the R-1 Zone shall be i,000
square feet.
Section 2. The City Clerk of the City of Beaumont shall
certify to the adoption of this ordnance and shall cause the same
to be published once in the Beaumont Gazette, a newspaper of
general circulation, printed, published and circulated in the City
of Beaumont, and thirty days after its adoption this ordinance
shall be in full force and effect.

I hereby certify that the foregoing ordinance was introduced and read in full
at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Beaumont duly held on
the 14th day of March, 1960, and was duly adopted at a regular meeitng of
said City Council duly held on the 28th day of March, 1960, by the following
