AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TEMPLE CITY ADDING NEW SECTIONS 9379, 9379.1 AND
9379.2 TO THE TEMPLE CITY ZONING CODE CREATING
A NEW C -1 -0. ZONE LIMITED RETAIL COMMERCIAL AND
OFFICE ZONE.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY DOES ORDAIN AS
FOLLOWS: .
SECTION 1. Based upon recommendations from the Planning Com-
mission and Public Hearing, new Sections 937,9, 9379.1 and 9379.2 are
hereby added to the Temple City Zoning Code as follows:
9379. C -1 -0 ZONE, USES PERMITTED
(A) Retail uses as listed in the C -1 (Section 9371) and C -1 -R
(Section 9375) zones may be conducted provided same involve
the sale of new products at retail and are conducted entirely
within an enclosed. building.
(B) Office uses are permitted as follows:
(1) business and professional offices
(2) stock brokerage firms and investment securities
(3) insurance agents or brokers
9379.1 STANDARDS OF DEVELOPMENT
The standards of development shall be the same as those stan-
dards in the C -1 Zone as specified in Section 9373 et seq. of
this code.
9379.2 COMPLIANCE
From and after the date of adoption of this ordinance, no new
use shall be permitted nor shall any permit or approval be
issued to any lot or parcel of ground located within the
C -1 -0, except in compliance with the provisions of Sections
9373 and 9379.1, of the code,.
SECTION 2. The City Clerk of the City of Temple City shall
certify to the passage and adoption of this Ordinance and to its
approval by the Mayor and shall cause the same to be published as
required by law.

certify that the foregoing Ordinance, being. Ordinance No. 85 -574, was
introduced at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of
Temple City held on the 15th day of October, 1985, and duly passed,
approved and adopted by said Council, approved and signed by the Mayor
and attested by the City Clerk at a regular meeting of said City Council
held on the 19th day of November , 1,985, by the following vote:
