AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 282
REZONING CERTAIN PROPERTY FROM R-1 TO M.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT DOES ORDAIN AS
FOLLOWS:
1. Pursuant to the recommendation of the Planning Commission
of the City of Beaumont that certain property designated as
Annez-ation No. 8, situated in the City of Beaumont, County of
Riverside, State of California, particularly described as follows:
All that portion of the Northwest one-quarter of
Section 9, T3S, R1W, S.B.B&M., being more par-
ticularly described by metes and bounds as follows:
Beginning at the Southwest corner of the Northwest
one-quarter of said Section 9;
thence Northerly along the West line of said
Northerly one-quarter to the Northwest corner of
the South half of said Northwest one-quarter;
thence Easterly along the North line of said South
half to a point on said line, said point being
1320 feet West of the East line of said Northwest
one-quarter; thence Southerly along a line parallel
to a distant 1320 feet West of said East line, a
distance of 330 feet;
thence Easterly along a line parallel to and distant
330 feet South of the North line of said South half,
a distance of 1320 feet to a point on the East line
of said Northwest one-quarter, said East line being
also the West city limits line of the City of
Beaumont; thence Southerly along the East line of
said Northwest one-quarter and said West city limits
line, to the Southeast corner thereof;
thence Westerly along the South line of said
Northwest one-quarter of said Section 9, to the
point of beginning,
is hereby rezoned from R..1 To M.
2. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage and adoption
of this Ordinance and shall cause the same to be published once
in the Beaumonr Gazette, a newspaper of general circulation,
published, printed and circulated in the City of Beaumont, and
thirty days after its adoption, this Ordinance shall be in full
force and effect.

do hereby certify that the foregoing Ordinance No. 335 was
first introduced and read in full at a regular meeting
of the City Council of said City held on the 25th. Day of
September, 1961, and was duly adopted at a regular meeting
of said Council, held on the 9th. day of October, 1961, by
the following vote:
AYES: Councilmen Houston, ',eel), Moore, McClellan and Allen.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
