AN 0-0INANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 282 REZONING
CE3TAIN PROPEaTY ?Ruh k-1 AND a-3 TO C-1, AND
FROM R-1 TO C-2.
The City Council of the City of Beaumont does ordain as follows.
1. Pursuant to the recommendation of the Planning Commission
of the City of Beaumont, that certain property along Beaumont
Avenue, particularly described as follows:
Beginning on the North line of Lot 9, of
Block 28, at the North line of Lot 10,
of Block 29, as shown by the Amended Map
of the City of Beaumont, recorded in Book
6, Pages 16 and 17 of haps, Records of
San Bernardino County, California, and
extending Northerly to the South curb line
of Twelfth Street to a depth of 155 feet
on the East side of Beaumont Avenue and
160 feet on the 4est side of Beaumont Avenue
in the City. of Beaumont, County of Riverside,
State of California,
is hereby rezoned from. S-1 and -3 to C-1.
2. Pursuant to the recommendation of the Planning Commission of
the City of Beaumont, that certain property commonly known as 1191
Beaumont Avenue, particularly described as follows:
That portion of Lot 1 in Block 185, as shown
by mended Map of the Town of Beaumont on file
in Book 6 pages 16 and 17 of haps, San
Bernardino County Records, described as follows:
Beginning at the Northeast corner of said Lot
1; thence West, along the Northerly line of said
Lot, 150 feet; thence South, parallel with the
Easterly line of said Lot, 114.63 feet; thence
East, parallel with the Northerly line of said
Lot, 150 feet, to the Easterly line of said
Lot; tnence North 114.63 feet, to the point of
beginning,
is hereby rezoned from R-1 to C-2.
3. The City Clers shall certify to the passage and adoption of
tnis Ordinance and snail cause the same to oe published once in the
Beaumont Gazette, a newspaper of general circulation, published,
printed and circulated in the City of Beaumont, and thirty (33) days
after adoption, this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect.
Introduced at a regular meeting held on January 22, 1962.
Adopted this 14th day of Februar 1962.

do hereby certify that the foregoing Ordinance No. 340 was
introduced and red in full at a regular meeting of the
City Council of said City held on the 22nd. day of January,
1962, anu was duly adopted at a regular meeting of said
Council, held on the loth day of February,1962, by the
following vote:
Ayes: Councilmen Houston, Leeb, Moore, McClellan and Allen.
Noes: Councilmen None.
Absent: Councilmen None.
