AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT FIXING THE AMOUNT OF MONEY
NECESSARY TO BE RAISED BY TAXATION UPON THE TAXABLE PROPERTY IN
THE CITY OF BEAUMONT FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 1962 - 63,
Ht; CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS,
to -wit:
SECTION 1. That the amount of money necessary to be raised
by taxation upon the taxable property in the city of beaumont, ex-
clusive of all sums to be raised to pay the bonded and interest
indebtedness of the City of Beaumont, for the general fund as a
revenue to carry on the various departments of government of the
City of Beaumont for the fiscal year 1962-63 is hereby
fixed at 69,5b4.90
And the amount to be raised to pay the bonded and interest
indebtedness of the City of Beaumont for the fiscal year 1962-63
is hereby fixed at $ 13,912.9$ '
And the amount to be raised for the Lighting Maintenance Fund
of the City of Beaumont for the fiscal year 1962-63 is hereby
fixed at G 11,296.70
And the amount to be raised for the Public Parks Fund for the
City of Beaumont for the fiscal year 1962-63 is hereby fixed
at $ 6,956.4
SECTION 2. This Ordinance is hereby declared to be an urgency
ordinance, and to be necessary for the immediate preservation of
the public peace, health and safety and the facts constituting its
