ORDINANCE NO. 347
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 282 REZONING
CERTAIN PROPERTY FROM R-1 TO C-1.
TEE CITY COUNCIL OF TEE CITY OF BEATMONT DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
1. Pursuant to the recommendation of the Planning Commission of
the City of Beaumont that certain property located at the southeast
corner of Fourteenth Street and Beaumont Avenue, situated in the City
of Beaumont, County of Riverside, State of California, particularly
described as follors:
The West halfof Lot 4, and
the east half of Lot 4, and
the West half of Lot 5, of
Valley Nome Tract Subdivision of
Lot 2, in Block 196, of the Town
now City of Beaumont, as shown by
amended Map of said City, recorded
in Book 6, Pages 16 and 17 of Maps,
Records of San Bernardino County,
California,
is hereby rezoned from R-1 to C-1.
2. Said zoning change is hereby made upon the following con-
ditions:
(a) That the owner shall install concrete curb and gutter and
pavement between the existing pavement on Beaumont Avenue and the new
curb; concrete curb and gutter and dropinlet and paving between the
existing pavement between Fourteenth Street and the new curb.
(b) That the owner shall furnish a letter of intent to the City
of Beaumont that it will install a five foot six inch concrete block
wall on the property in question where it abuts to property zoned
R-1, within ninety (90) days after request made by the City so to do.
3. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage and adoption of
this Ordinance and shall cause the same to be published once in the
Beaumont Gazette, a newspaper of general circulation, published,
printed and circulated in the City of Beaumont, and thirty days after
its adoption, this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect.
