AN ORDINANCE AMt'NDING ORDINANCE Nu. 282 REZONING
CERTAIN PdOPEitTY .(NOWN AS "ANNEXATION NU. 10"
FROM R-1 TO C-2.
The City Council of the City of Beaumont does ordain as follows:
1. Pursuant to the recommendation of the Planning Commission of
the City of Beaumont, that certain property situated in the City of
Beaumont, County of Riverside, State of California, known as "Annexa-
tion No. 10, and particularly described as follows:
That portion of the northwest quarter of Section
11, T3S, alw, SBB&M; being more particularly
described by metes and bounds as follows:
Beginning at the southeast corner of Lot 4, Blocic
3, as per map of Subdivision of said Section 11,
T3S, N1W on file in Book 9, page 10 of Maps,
Records of San Bernardino County, California;
thence southerly along the southerly prolongation
of the easterly line of said Lot 4 to a point on
the center line of Sixth Street (also known as
the State Highway) as per said map of Section 11;
thence westerly along said center line to a point
on the present easterly limits of the City of
Beaumont; thence northerly along said present city
limits to a point on the southerly line of Lot 2
of said Block 3; thence easterly along said present
city limits to a point on the southerly line of
said Lot 4, being distance 220 feet westerly from
the southeast corner of said Lot 4; thence northerly
alumsaid present city limits a distance of 23J
feet; thence leaving said city limits on a course
easterly, parallel with the southerly line of said
Lot 4 to a point on the easterly line of said Lot
4; thence southerly along the easterly line of said
Lot 4 to the point of beginnings
is hereby rezoned from R-1 to C-2.
2. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage and adoption of
this ordinance and shall cause the same to be published once in the
Beaumont Gazette, a newspaper of general circulation, published,
printed and circulated in the City of Beaumont, and thirty (30) days
after its. adoption, this ordinance shall be in full force and effect.
Introduced at a regular meeting held. on January 14, 1963.
Adopted this 28th day of January, 1963.
