A RESOLUTION RECOGNIZING THE 75TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE INCORPORATION
OF THE TOWN OF GULF STREAM
[EREAS, on May 12, 1925, the Town of Gulf Stream was incorporated by our
ding fathers; and
[EREAS, The Town of Gulf Stream was established on a foundation of civic
itment and respect for the natural beauty of the area; and
WHEREAS, the Commissioners elected to serve the Town of Gulf Stream, along
with their appointed staff, have strived to provide exceptional municipal
services; and
WHEREAS, during the Town's 75 -year history, the Town has endeavored to
preserve and protect the beauty, resources and character that define the
community.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE TOWN COMMISSION OF THE TOWN OF GULF
STREAM, PALM BEACH COUNTY, FLORIDA, as follows:
THAT AS THE TOWN OF GULF STREAM ENTERS THE FOURTH QUARTER OF THE TOWN'S
CENTINNIEL, THE TOWN COMMISSIONERS AND ITS STAFF WILL WORK TO MAINTAIN THE
UNIQUE QUALITY OF LIFE AND SPECIAL CHARACTER THAT HAVE MADE GULF STREAM A
TREASURED RESIDENTIAL COMMUNITY FOR THE PAST 75 YEARS.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 12th day of May, 2000.
