June 1, 1973 .
A Special Meeting of City Council was held today at
7 :30 p.m.in City Hall Council Room for the purpose of naming
an Election Superintendent and Poll Workers for the Special
Election on the Proposed Annexation of the remaining portion
of Tybee Island on June 2, 1973.
The meeting was presided over by Mayor Hendrix and the
following Councilmen were in attendance: Walter Parker, Earl
Anderson, Ernest Hosti and Perry Zittrauer.
Councilman Hosti moved that the following named persons
be appointed for the election:
Election Superintendent Judge Robert R. Cook
Chief Manager Mrs. Ethel Chandler
Assistant Manager Mrs. Callie Zittrauer
Assistant Manager Mrs. Mildred Hobbs
Clerk Mrs. Louise Shaw
Clerk Mrs. Leona East
The motion was seconded by Councilman Zittrauer and unanimously
carried.
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned
until the next regular meeting or special called meeting.
