The Mayor and. City Council of the City of Tybee Island, Georgia, will hold
public hearings at City Hall, 403 Butler Hall, Tybee Island, on Thursday, December 14,
2006 at 7:00 p.m. The purpose of the public hearings is to consider readoption of the
provisions in the Land Development Code governing the policies and procedures for the
conduct of public hearings (Tybee Code 8 -5 -060) and the readoption of the standards for
zoning because under the City's Land Development Zoning Code. The hearings are
being held in connection with the recodification of the Code of Ordinances for the City of
Tybee Island and the adoption of an ordinance previously introduced to approve the
recodification.
All persons whose interests or property rights may be affected are hereby notified
of the time and place of said hearing so that they may appear and be heard. If you wish
to speak to the matter at the public hearing, it will be necessary for you to sign a
disclosure form before the hearing. The forms are available in the Zoning Office at City
Hall.

786 -4563, ext. 103, or at the Office of the Clerk of Council at City Hall.
The ordinance adopting the recodification is anticipated to occur on December 14,
2006 at City Hall.
