COMMITTEE MEETING — Began at 4:30 p.m.
• CALL TO ORDER AND ROLL CALL
Committee members Alison Foudy, Claire Remsberg, Dave Peugh, Barbara Nokes-
Kwader, and Cynthia Dittmer were present. Also present was City Planner Delta
James.
• MINUTES APPROVAL
Alison motioned, Cynthia seconded to approve the February 24, 2016 minutes.
Minutes were approved.
• PUBLIC ART PROJECTS
Alpine Playhouse Plaza: Staff reported that the sculptures are being fabricated and
an installation date of late June is likely.
Idaho First Bank has pledged a $5000 matching grant to support the $10,000
needed to complete the plaza pavers. The City of McCall is pursuing grants from
Idaho Power and Wells Fargo to raise the remaining $5000 needed. A private
donation of$500 has been pledged.
Art for Rotary Park: Staff reported that City Council approved the selection of Susan
Bond's "Waves of Payette Lake"for the project. Artist contract is in process. Likely,
installation will occur in late summer or early fall.
Youth Arts: Alison and Cynthia provided an update of the next "Hometown Art"
project that will involve elementary, middle and high school students each creating
mural panels to be installed on the Railroad Avenue retaining wall. Dave motioned,
Barbara seconded and Committee members unanimously approved the project to
install up to three,new murals on the Railroad Ave. retaining wall.
• FUNDING
Budget Review: No changes.
FY17 LOT: Claire motioned, Dave seconded, and committee members unanimously
approved a LOT application request of$10,000 for art on Lardo Bridge:
• OTHER
Annual Report to City Council will occur May 12;2016. Claire will present.
• ADJOURNMENT
