AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT, COUNTY OF RIVERSIDE,
STATE OF CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING THE REQUIREMENTS OF SECTION
13522 OF THE PENAL CODE RELATING TO TRAINING OF LAW ENFORCE-
MENT OFFICERS.
Section 1. The City of Beaumont, County of Riverside
declares that it desires to qualify to receive aid from the
State of California under the provisions of Chapter 1 of
Title 4, Part 4 of the California Penal Code.
Section 2. Pursuant to Section 13522 of said Chapter 1,
the City of Beaumont while receiving aid from the State of
California pursuant to said Chapter 1 will adhere to the
standards for recruitment and training established by the
California Commission on Peace Officer Standards and Training,

I, Bernice Conine, City Clerk of the City of Beaumont,
California, do hereby certify that the foregoing Ordinance No.356
was introduced and read at a regular meeting of the City Council
of said City, held on the 28th. day of January, 1964, and that the
same was duly passed and adopted at a regular meeting, held on
the ll_th day of February 1964, by the following
vote:
AYES: Councilmen Houston, Haskell, Bei, Drazie and Allen,
NOES: Councilmen None.
