AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT PROVIDING FOR
BOULEVARD STOPS AT CERTAIN INTERSECTIONS, FOR OTHER
SIGNS NECESSARY TO THE CONTROL OF TRAFFIC FLOW, AND
FOR THE REGULATION OF THE PARKING OF VEHICT,RS, AND
REPEALING ORDINANCES NO. 114, 163, 188 AND 202.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1, Under the provisions of Division 11 of the State of California
Vehicle Code of 1959, as amended, the designation of "through highways", "stop
intersections", "speed zones", and the designation of parking lanes, parking zones,
and crosswalks, and such other regulation of the flow of traffic as may be deemed
necessary shall hereafter be enacted by Resolution of the City Council of the
City of Beaumont.
SECTION 2. It shall be unlawful for any vehicle to enter any "through
highway" or "stop intersection" in the City of Beaumont without first coming to
a full stop.
SECTION 3. Ordinance No. 114 of the City of Beaumont, California adopted
September 26, 1959, is hereby repealed.
SECTION 4. Ordinance No. 163 of the City of Beaumont, California, adopted
May 13, 1936 is hereby repealed.
SECTION 5. Ordinance No. 188 of the City of Beaumont, California, adopted
November 15, 1959, is hereby repealed.
SECTION 6. Ordinance No. 202 of the City of Beaumont, California, adopted
March 5, 1941, is hereby repealed.
SECTION 7. All other ordinances or parts of other ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed.
SECTION 8. Any violation of this Ordinance or of any Resolutions adopted
under the provisions of Section 1, hereof is hereby declared a misdemeanor
patizatiaximmx punishable in accordance with Section 42001 of the Motor Vehicle
Code.
SECTION 9. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this ordinance,
and cause it to be published once in the Beaumont Gazette, a newspaper of general
circulation in the City of Beaumont, and thirty (30) days after adoption it shall
be in full force and effect.

certify that the foregoing Ordinance, being Ordinance No. 369 of the City
of Beaumont, was introduced and read at a regular meeting of the City Council
of the City of Beaumont, duly held on the 25th day of October , 1965,
and that the same was duly passed and adopted at the regular meeting of said
City Council duly held on the 9th day of November , 1965., by
the following vote:

NOESi Councilmen None.
