ORDINANCE NO. 408
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF BEAUIONT AMENDING
ORDINANCE NO. 282 REZONING CERTAIN PARCELS IN
ANNEXATION NO. 15 FROM R-1 TO R -T AND FROM
R-1 TO C-2.
The City Council of the City of Beaumont does ordain
follows:
1. Pursuant to the recommendation of the Planning Commission
of the City of Beaumont, that certain property situated in the City
of Beaumont, County of Riverside, State of California, being a
portion of"Annexation No. 15" and particularly described as
follows:
Parcel 1:
Lots 1 through 103 inclusive, as per Tentative
Tract Map 3963, City of Beaumont, being a
proposed Sub -Division of a portion of the
Southwest 1/4 of Section 5, Township 3 South,
Range 1 West, San Bernardino Base and Meridian.
is hereby rezoned from R-1 to R -T.
Parcel;
All that portion of Section 5, Township 3 South,
Range 1 West, San Bernardino Base and Meridian,
more particularly, described as follows:
Commencing at the Southwest corner of said
Section 5;
Thence North 0°.09' 15" West along the westerly
line of said Section 5,a distance of 30.01
feet to a pcnrt thereon for the TRUE POINT OF
BEGINNING, said point being in a line parallel
with and distant northerly 30.00 feet measured
at right angles from the Southerly line of said
Section 5;
Thence South 89° 31' 08" East along said parallel
line a distance of 1720 feet;
Thence North Oo 28` 52" East, a distance of
1015.00 feet;
Thence North 11° 30' West, a distance of
170.00 feet;
Thence North 35° 30' West, a distance of
150.00 feet;
Thence South 66° 15' West, a distance of
560.00 feet;
Thence North 88° 30' West, a distance of
1098.21 feet to a point in said Westerly Line.. of
Section 5
Thence South 0° 09' 15" East along " .
line, a distance of 1092.44 feet to the true
point of beginning,
hereby rezoned from R-1 to C-2.

2. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage and adoption
of this ordinance and shall cause the same to be published once
in the Beaumont Gazette, a newspaper of general circulation,
published, printed and circulated in the City of Beaumont, and
thirty (30) days after its adoption, this ordinance shall be in
full force and effect.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 14th day of October, 1969.
