NOW, THERUPORE, TIL ClIY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT DOES ORDAIN AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the annexation of inhabited territory contiguous to the
City of Beaumont designated as "Annexation No. 16" be and the sane is hereby
approved upon the terras contained in the aforesaid question which was submitted
at the special election held on the 18th day of November, 1969.

SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this ordinance
and shall cause the same to be published in the Daily Record -Gazette, a news-
paper of general circulatiori, in the City of Beaumont, and this ordinance shall
be in full force and effect thirty days after its adoption.
