PURPOSE OF PRoviDINT`FOR LICENSES FOR THOSE; NOT HAVING A FIXED PLACE or
BUSINESS WITHIN ME CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE CITY
OF BEAUMONL'
The City Council of the City of Beaumont does" hereby ordain As follows:
Section 1. Section 8e of Ordinance No. 333 is hereby amended so as,`to
read as. follows:
Section 8-e s i.oenses for Persons, Firms: or Cer'pe cations Not Maintaining a
Place' of Busi.nessWithin City. Except where - otherwise specifically piovided, for'
in thin oral:lance, every person, firm or corporation not maintaining a? bona
fide and fixed place of business within the corporate limits of the City of
Beaumont who delivers goods, wares or merchandise .of any kind, sort or
naturewhatsoever and/or provides any services to residents of the City of
Beaumont other than a retail establishment already licensed by the City of.
'Beaumont under this ordinance and in so doing operates a vehicle 'Or Vehicles,.
in the City of Beaumont, shall be licensed sad pay a, license fee therefor of
48400 per, year. This section is enacted 8QLe1y to raise revenue for
Municipal purpose's and is not intended for regulation. All other
and sections of this ordinance shall remain in full force and -effect ,so far
,as their ,regulator provisions are concerned except as to: those'businessen,
occupations and professions licensed to do business by.the Stats
alifornia or the United States of America, so as to completely occupy the
field of regulation•
381 Section 2, {Ordinance No. 333 'is further

Section 8-g Any public utility operating in the City which is

Section 4. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage and ado ition
of this ordinance and shall cause the same to be published once in the
Daily Record -Gazette, a newspaper of general circulation and circulated in
the .City of Beaumont, and it shall be in force and effect thirty (30) days
after its adoption,.
