AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT, CALIFORNIA
AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 282 REZONING CERTAIN
PROPERTY FROM C-2 TO Mol ZONE
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT, CALIFORNIA DOES
HEREBY ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. Pursuant to the recommendation of the Planning
Commission of the City of Beaumont that certain property located
along Sixth Street from Veile Avenue to Edgar Avenue and along Fifth.
Street from California Avenue to Edgar Avenue, situated in the City
of Beaumont, County of Riverside, State of California, particularly
described as follows:
All that area that lies between the centerline of 66 foot
wide Veile Avenue and the centerline of 80 foot wide
California Avenue, and between a line that is parallel with
and 150 feet Northerly of the centerline of 100 foot wide
Sixth Street and a line that is parallel with, and 116 feet
Southerly of the centerline of Sixth Street.
Also, all that area that lies between, the centerline of 80
foot wide Edgar Avenue and the centerline of 80 foot wide
California Avenue, and between a line that is parallel with
and 170 feet Northerly of the centerline of 80 foot wide
Sixth Street and the centerline of 80 foot wide Fifth Street
As shown on the attached map entitled "Change of Zone",
which is made a part of this ordinance
is hereby rezoned from C-2 to M-1 Zone.
SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage and
adoption of this Ordinance and shall cause the same to be published
once in the Daily Record -Gazette, a newspaper of general circula-
tion in the City of Beaumont and thirty (30) days after its adoption,
this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 10th day of July, 1972.

of said City duly held on the 26th day of June, 1972, and that the
same was duly passed and adopted at a regular meeting held on the
10th day of July, 1972, by the following vote:
AYES: Councilman Rodman, Ochoa, Valdivia, Hightower and Haskell.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
