AUTHORIZING TANK PUMPING SERVICES
WHEREAS, there exists a need to pump out the contents of underground storage
tanks located at the site of the Borough's Sports Complex currently under
construction; and
WHEREAS, the Engineering Department has obtained three (3) quotes to perform
said services; and
WHEREAS, the entire cost is anticipated to be less than the amount which would
require competitive bidding; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS:
1. The Engineering Department is authorized to engage the services of Barco, Inc.,
who submitted the lowest quotation to perform the tank pumping services at a cost
of $560.00 per tanker and $.75 per gallon, with the total cost not to exceed
$9,000.00.

and certified as a true copy of the
original on March 7, 1997.
