RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE TOWN TREASURER TO
PAY THE MONTHLY UTILITY BILLS FOR THE TOWN
OF RICHLAND HILLS, TEXAS, OUT OF THE GENERAL
FUND WITHOUT FIRST SUBMITTING THEM TO THE
BOARD OF ALDERMEN.
WHEREAS, the Town receives various monthly utility bills; and
WHEREAS, said charges are standard and whereas, sometimes the
Board of Aldermen does not meet after the receipt of the utility bills
until the utility companies have added a penalty on the said bills;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE
TOWN OF RICHLAND HILLS, TEXAS, THAT:
Section 1. That the Town treasurer be and she is hereby, authorized to
issue the necessary checks drawn on the General Fund of the Town of
Richland Hills for the payment of the monthly utility bills as they
are received without prior approval of the Board of Aldermen, However,
said utility bills are to be reviewed from time to time by the Board
of Aldermen as they may direct.
