RESOLUTION A
Whereas, the members of the Police Department including members
of the Reserve Police of the Town of Richland Hills, Texas have been
performing the duties imposed upon them by the Ordinances of the Town

of Richland Hills and by the laws of the State of Texas, in an excep-
e< tional manner;and

WHEREAS, they have been exceptionally resourceful in protecting
65 the lives and property of the citizens of the Town of Richland Hills
as exemplified by the recent apprehension by members of the Police
Force of an habitual criminal a few moments after a hold-up in another
en
City and the apprehension of several groups of young teen-agers who
0 had been stripping automobiles; and

WHEREAS, all of the policemen have been performing their duties
in a courteous and considerate manner keeping in mind the rights and
privileges of those who have been stopped for minor traffic violations;
and
WHEREAS, the courtesies extended by the members of the Police
Department are always a credit to the Municipal Government and to the
citizens of the Town;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE TOWN OF
RICHLAND HILLS, THE MAYOR CONCURRING, THAT:
CONGRATULATIONS, are hereby officially extended to the members
of the Police Department including the Reserve Alice of the Town of
Richland Hills, Texas for their outstanding police work including
the kind and courteous manner in which they have been carrying out
their official duties.
RESOLVED, that copy of this resolution be sent to the Chief of
Police of the Town of Richland Hills and that he notify all members
00 of his Department of this commendation.
