A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
ADOPTING THE FIVE-YEAR CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PLAN
WHEREAS, the City of Lynwood has prepared a Five-Year Capital Improvement
Plan (Five-Year CIP) which addresses the City's public infrastructure and facility needs;
and
WHEREAS, on July 20, 2021, the City Council adopted the City's Biennial Budget
for Fiscal Year 2021-22 (FY21-22) and Fiscal Year 2022-23 (FY22-FY23) which included
a Capital Improvement Program Budget for two years; and
WHEREAS, the proposed Five-Year CIP includes projects incorporated in the
adopted FY21-22 and FY22-23 CIP Biennial Budget, projects proposed for amendments
for the FY21-22 and FY22-23 adopted CIP Budget, and projects anticipated to be to be
included in the FY23-24, FY24-25 and FY25-26 CIP Biennial Budgets; and
WHEREAS, the projects proposed in the subsequent years following the adopted
Biennial Budget will be used for planning purposes only; and
WHEREAS, the proposed Five-Year CIP has been reviewed under the California
Environmental Quality Act and has been determined to be exempt under Section 15262
Feasibility and Planning Studies.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD DOES
HEREBY FIND, PROCLAIM, ORDER, AND RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the City Council adopt the Five-Year Capital Improvement
Program for FY2021-22 to FY2025-26 attached hereto as Exhibit A.
Section 2. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
Section 3. The City Clerk shall certify as to the adoption of this City Council
Resolution.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 18th day of January, 2022.
