A RESOLUTION WHEREBY THE TOWN OF RICHLAND HILLS, TEXAS, I QUESTS
THAT THE STATE OF TEXAS AND THE STATE HIGHWAY DEPARTMENT GRANT SUCH
EASEMENTS AND PER�11TS AS 11AY BE NECESSARY FOR THE RELOCATION OF MAGNOLIA
PETROLEUM COMPANYtS 3 INCH GASOLINE LINE ALONG HIGHWAY NO. 121, SO AS
TO BRING ABOUT THE REMOVAL OF SUCH LINE FROM UNDER CERTAIN LOTS IN RICH —
LAND HILLS AND REMOVE THE HAND NOW PRESENT: AND GRANTING THE MAYOR
THE AUTHORITY TO TAKE ALL ACTIONS NECESSARY TO EFFECTUATE THE RELOCATION;
OF SUCH LINE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOA:r%_D OF ALDER1ZN OF '--,.'HE TOWN OF RICHLAND
HILLS, TEXAS:
THEIREAS, Magnolia. Petroleum Company operates a 3 inch gasoline
line which at the present time extends under and across certain lots
in the Town of Richland Hills, creating a hazard thereto; and
WHEREAS, Magnolia Petroleum Company has expressed a willingness
to relocate such portion of the line provic;ed that the line can be
relocated along Highway 121:
NOW BE IT RESOLVED by the Board. of Aldermen of the Town
of Richland Hills, Texas, that this Town request the State
of Texa..s and the Highway Department of the State of Texas
to grant to Magnolia Petroleum Company such right of way,
easement or permit as may be proper in the premises, per-
mitting said Company to install and relocate its said 3 inch
gasoline line in the highway known and designatted as Highway
No. 121, said line as so located to extend along the North--
east side of Highway No. 121, beginning at the intersection
of Highway No. 121 and East Holder Street and continuing to
the intersection of Highway No. 121 and Pipe Line Road; and
that the Mayor be a.utLorized to write a letter to the State
Highway Department embodying this request and attaching a
certified copy of this resolution thereto, and that he be
empowered to take such further actions, either personally
or through delegated authority, as may be necessary and
proper to effectuate the relocation of the gasoline line.
