A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE OF KEY
BISCAYNE, FLORIDA; AUTHORIZING THE
VILLAGE MANAGER TO EXECUTE THE
ATTACHED AGREEMENT WITH CREATIVE
CAMP, INC. FOR PROFESSIONAL SUMMER
CAMP SERVICES; PROVIDING FOR AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, recreation and leisure experiences contribute to the physical and mental
well being as well as the overall quality of life on Key Biscayne; and
WHEREAS, The Recreation department has historically provided summer camp
services for residents of the Village of Key Biscayne; and
WHEREAS, contracting summer camp services is economically advantageous as this
will minimize the need for additional Recreation Department Staff, while providing the
Department a percentage of the profit from enrollment; and
WHEREAS, Creative Camp, Inc has been recognized as providing excellent
recreational programs.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF
KEY BISCAYNE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The Village Manager is hereby authorized to execute the attached
agreement, on behalf of the Village, with Creative Camp, Inc., for professional summer camp
services. A copy is attached and marked exhibit A.
Section 2. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon adoption.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 11th day of May , 1999.
