HomeMy Public PortalAboutResolution No. 002-52 05-16-1952c RESOLUTION # 2 1952 N 0 T I C E Whereas certain applications have been made re- questing that certain sections of Ordinance Number 16, Zoning Ordinance of the Town of Richland Hills, be amended, changed or modified. Now therefore in accordance with the provisions of Ordinance Number 16, Zoning Ordinance of the Town of Richland Hills, and in accordance with chapter 263 Acts of the Regular Legislature 1927 Article loll -A to loll-J Revised Civil Statutes, the Board of Alder- men of the Town of Richland Hills hereb- notifies all interested persons that the Board of Aldermen will on the 5th day of June, 1952 at b:00 o'clock P.M., hold a public hearing at 3662 Popplewell Street, Rich- land Hills, Texas for the purpose of discussing the proposed changes, amendments, and/or modifications and will at that time hear all interested parties, however, in the meantime any interested party may file any information, recommendation, suggestion or complaint with the City Secretary and such in- formation, recommendation, suggestion or complaint will be given due consideration. The following ap- plications will be considered: (1) Application of Mr. Leonard D. Matthews to change from District "A" Residential Area to a new residential district of lower requirements than any district now provided for in the 'Zoning Ordinance said tract being approximately twenty-five (25) acres, the north boundary of which lies approximately 900 feet south of the west projection of Park Place Drive, bounded on the west by the south projection of Rufe Snow Drive and on the south by Big Fossel Creek and the east boundary approximately dUU feet west of the new street of Pecan Park, all in accordance with a proposed plat on file in the City Secretary's office. (2) Application of Mr. A. F. Ward to change from District "A: Residential District to part Gen- eral Business District "G" and part new residential district of a lower classification than District "A" a tract of land approximately 550 feet triangle located in the southeast intersection of Latham Drive and State Highway 183, the proposed plat being on file in the City Secretary's office. (3) Application of Mr.1 ,-Henry to change from District "A" Residential Area to part General Bus- iness District "G" and part new residential District of a lower classification than District "A" said property being located on the north side of Highway #183 between Wearing Drive and Kingsbury being de- signated on the official map of the Town of Richland Hills as number 2-U-2-J. (4) Application of Mr. E. L. Ansley to change from Residential Area to part General Business Dist - rick "G" said property being located on the southeast corner of the intersection of Matthews Drive and Baker Boulevard known as Lot 9, of the Matthews Subdivision. It is therefore ordered by the Board of Alder- men: That this notice be published in the official newspaper of the Town of Richland Hills, Texas in accordance with the ordinances of the Town of Rich- land Hills and the lamas of the State of Texas.
