THE STATE OF TEXAS
COUNTY OF TARRANT
TOWN OF RICHLAND HILLS
On this the Ifs day of July, 1954, the Town Council of the
Town of Richland Hills, Texas, convened in WelPeJ/;E' Meeting, at the
Regular Meeting place, with the following members thereof, to -wit:
Homer Norton,
C. A. J. Smith,
Joe Martin,
Cecil Smith,
W. F. Owens,
Clayton Woodall,
rgZ4re,
being present, with 4Ke following absent:
Mayor,
Aldermen,
Town Secretary,
constituting a quorum, at which time the following proceedings were had:
Alderman introduced a resolution and made
a motion that it be adopted. The motion was seconded by Alderman L‘4 °i"f .
The motion carrying with it the adoption of the resolution prevailed by the
following vote:
AYES: Aldermen C. A. J. Smith, Martin, Cecil Smith, Owens
and Woodall _ .
NOES: None.
The resolution as adopted is as follows:
A RESOLUTION
EXTENDING CONTRACT WITH E. KELLY BROWN INVESTMENT
COMPANY.
WHEREAS, a Contract was heretofore made between the Town of
Richland Hills and E. Kelly Brown Investment Company, dated February 5, 1954,
for said Company to serve as Fiscal Agent in the matter of purchasing and
financing a Waterworks System for said Town and, through no neglect on the
part of said Company, said purchase and financing have not been completed, and
said Contract should be extended;
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF RICHLAND HILLS:
The Contract above mentioned is hereby extended to November
1, 1954, and the Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to execute the
following clause to be written at the foot of said contract or on a page to
be attached thereto:
"The above and foregoing Contract is hereby extended to
November 1, 1954"

I, the undersigned, Town Secretary of the Town of Richland
Hills, Texas, do hereby certify that the above and foregoing is a true, full
and correct copy of a resolution adopted by the Town Council of the Town of
Richland Hills, Texas, (and of the minutes pertaining thereto) on the .16
day of July, 19S4+, extending contract with E. Kelly Brown Investment Company,
which resolution is of record in the minutes of said Town Council.
