AUTHORIZING A PROFESSIONAL SERVICES CONTRACT FOR
MUNICIPAL TAX ASSESSING SERVICES
WHEREAS, the Borough is in need of professional municipal tax assessing
services; and
WHEREAS, Robert Sweeney possesses the requisite knowledge, training,
experience and professional license to provide said services, and has submitted a
proposal to perform said services at a rate of $30.00 per assessment, not to exceed
a total amount of $7,500.00; and
WHEREAS, the Borough's Chief Financial Officer has certified that funds are or
will be available for this purpose.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the
Borough of Carteret, County of Middlesex, State of New Jersey, as follows:
1. The proposal from Robert Sweeney for professional
municipal tax assessing services at a total cost not to exceed
$7,500.00 at the rate of $30.00 per assessment is hereby approved.
2. This action is approved as an award of a professional
services contract pursuant to N.J.S.A 40A:l 1-5(1)(a).
Adopted this 18th day of November, 2002
and certified as a true copy of the
original on November 19, 2002.
