The meeting of the Charter Commission was called to order at
7:00 p.m. , January 2, 1986 , by Chairman Paul Daniels. This
meeting was held in compliance with the Texas Open Meeting Law.
Adams, Bridges and Clements were absent. Black arrived at
7:30 p.m.
Smith moved, Leach seconded,the minutes of the last meeting be
approved as written. Vote for was unanimous.
The Chairman read a letter from Donohoo of her resignation, dated
December 31 , 1985.
Rex McEntire , Charter Commission attorney, was present and dis-
cussed with the Commission members.__the Tentative Charter. He
advised corrections and suggested changes which are included in
$XX the revised Tentative Charter mailed to the members the week
of January 13th, 1986.
Logan moved the next meeting be January 21 , 1986. Smith seconded.
Vote for 9 , Shephard, Black against.
McBrayer moved meeting adjourn, Ray seconded. Meeting adjourned
at 10: 10 p.m.
