Animal Shelter Committee Meeting

The meeting of the Animal Shelter Committee Meeting was called to order by Dr. Popp,
Chairman. The agenda was approved. The minutes of the December 16, 2009 meeting
was approved.
The monthly shelter report was printed and discussed. An update of the progress of the
new shelter was discussed.
Nathan Nickolaus explained the State Sunshine Law and Closed Meeting provisions
within the State Statute. 610.021.
Susan Thompson complained about written correspondence going through Charles
Lansford before it is sent to the Committee. A motion was made and passed for future
correspondence to be sent to the City Clerk, c/o the Animal Shelter Committee.
The next meeting date was set for April 28, 2010, 12:30 p.m. in the Large Conference
Room, City Hall, 320 E. McCarty Street, Jefferson City, Missouri.
With no further business the meeting was adjourned.
