HomeMy Public PortalAbout20120515minutesMinutes Animal Shelter Advisory Committee Meeting Tuesday, May 15, 2012 Members Present: Dr. Gregory Popp, Chairman Dr. Jim Crago, Vice Chair Dr. Greg Boyer, Committee Member Karen Jennings, Staff Captain Bob Cynova, Staff Dr. Amanda Dykstra, Staff The Animal Shelter Committee met for a regularly scheduled meeting on Tuesday, May 15,2012, at 12:30 p.m. in the Conference Room at Waste Water Collections, 2320 Hyde Park Road, Jefferson City Missouri. The meeting was called to order by Dr. Popp, Chairman. Roll call was taken. Approval of Minutes from the October 27, 2010 Meeting The minutes of the February 21, 2012 meeting were reviewed and Dr. Crago moved they be approved. Dr. Boyer seconded and the minutes were approved. Staff Reports Karen Jennings, Animal Control Supervisor, reported the April stats from the shelter. The new shelter will be opening the first of June with an Open House scheduled for June 3rd. Review Written Correspondence No correspondence was received. Old Business There was no old business. New Business 1. The Volunteer Manual for the shelter was discussed and in the process of being written. Approval of Next Meeting Date Tuesday, August 21, 2012 was set as the next Committee meeting.
