Call to order, roll call, and determination of a quorum
Ms. McMillan called the meeting to order at 10:03 a.m. A quorum was present with 13 of 16 voting members
present.
2. Public comment
None received.
3. Adoption of the agenda as printed or amended
Mr. Benz moved and Mr. Turner seconded to adopt the agenda as printed. The motion passed unanimously.
4. Approval of the minutes from the meeting of September 1, 2011
Mr. Benz moved and Mr. Bange seconded to approve the minutes from the meeting of September 1, 2011 as
written. The motion passed unanimously.

6. Business
A. Discussion on the update of regional needs.
Mr. Morrison explained that MoDOT requested a list of needs from the CAMPO area for their upcoming
State Transportation Improvement Program (Slip). As requested, a list of identified needs identified by
CAMPO committees will be sent on Tuesday, November 1, 2011.
Mr. Engelbrecht explained that MoDOT is going through the next development cycle for their STIP, and that
the new STIP will cover the years of 2013-2017. He stated that MoDOT is working with Planning Partners to
update the list of current needs for the Central District.
Mr. Morrison explained that a prioritization process is not needed at this time.
Mr. Engelbrect suggested that the project descriptions be more generic for the scoping phase.
Mr. Benz moved and Mr. Lockwood seconded to forward the list of regional needs to the Board of Directors.
The motion passed unanimously.
7. Member News, Project Updates
Cole County
--Mr. Landwehr gave an update on the Zion Road project. He reported that they will start the design
phase for the Business 50 West improvements next year.
Jefferson City
--Mr. Bange provided updates on the Lafayette and E. McCarty project.
--Mr. Craft provided updates on the following activities at the Jefferson City Memorial Airport: (1) the
resurfacing and seal coating project for the parking lot and entrance road has been completed; (2) the
roof replacement project fort the Air Traffic Control Tower has been completed; and (3) a new fiber
optic line is being installed that will provide hi -speed internet for the entire airport.
--Mr. Lockwood provided updates on the greenway trail project from Lincoln University to Aurora Park
and the Adrian's Island access project.
--Mr. Turner reported that as of January 3, 2012 new JEFFTRAN routes will cover the southern and
extreme western portion of Jefferson City. He reported that they are going to 40 minute routes to make
the entire system operate more efficiently.
Missouri Department of Transportation
--Mr. Engelbrecht distributed a brochure of the Central Missouri District Management Team.
--Mr. Lynch gave an update on the Highway 179 interchange at the new St. Mary's Health Center and
reported that Mr. David Silvester is the new MoDOT Central District Engineer.
--Ms. Eva Voss, Transportation Planner for the Central District and new CAMPO liaison, introduced
herself.
8. Next Meeting Date - Thursday, December 1, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. in the Boone/Bancroft Room #200.
