A. Public Hearing: Amendment #5bmthe 2011-20i4Transportation Improvement Program
1. City of Jefferson Parks, Recreation and Forestry. Addition of the East Branch Greenway Trail
Extension, from Leslie Boulevard through Aurora pork. for FY2012 Total project cost is
$888.048.50 with City of Jefferson sales tax contributing $538.351.50 and Federal Highway
Administration STP/Transportation Enhancement funds contributing $352.698 TIP project #

With nocomments received, the public hearing was closed aL12:1@p.m.
Mr. Morrison explained that this project will extend the East Branch Greenway Trail from Leslie
Boulevard, through the Aurora Neighborhood Park, brAurora Avenue.
Mr. Lockwood explained that the project received oTronsportaMon Enhancement grant in 2000
and was included in the previous TIP but was omitted in the current TIP due to changes in scope
and right-of-vvmydelays.
Mr. Bax and K8c Scrivner arrived at 12:19 p.m.
Mr. Koon moved and Mr. Benz seconded to approve the amendment tothe FY2011-2014 TIP.
The motion passed 1O-11with the following roll call vote:

7. Metropolitan Transportation Planning Update
K8c Morrison explained that once the signed contract has been received from HDR. work on the
travel demand modeling can begin. He reviewed the progress aofar inthe travel demand modeling
project and the preparations underway for the MTP update. Mr. Morrison explained that the
Metropolitan Transportation Plan update is scheduled to be completed in the spring of 2013.

A.Adopt the 2012Meeting Schedule
Ms. McMillan suggested eliminating the November 21, 2012 meeting since it falls on the day before
Thanksgiving.
K8c Weber moved and Mr. BanQeseconded bz amend the 2O12 meeting schedule as proposed.
The motion passed unanimously.
