3. Adoption ofthe agenda uoprinted oramended
Mr. Benz moved and Mr. Morasch seconded to adopt the agenda as printed. The motion passed unanimously.
4. Approval ufthe minutes from the meeting ofJanuary 5,281%
Mr. Benz moved and Mr. Moroxuhseconded toapprove the Minutes from the meeting ofJanuary 5, 2012 as
written. The motion passed unanimously.
5. Communications from the presiding officer
The following correspondence was received from K4oDOT: (l)February 2|` 3012 open house for the Logan
Creek bridge replacement; (2) Approval of TIP Amendment #6 for the construction of sidewalks on the south
side of{200through 2|00Block ufMissouri Boulevard; and (3)MoDOT;Approval ufTIP Amendment #5for
the addition ufthe East Branch Greenway Trail extension from Leslie Boulevard through Aurora Park.

A. Travel Demand Modeling
1. Progress on the travel demand model
Mr. Sanders explained that MPO staff delivered initial data to HDR Engineering.

2. Ten critical intersections
The Technical Committee reviewed 10 critical intersections to be discussed with HDR Engineering via
conference call on February 8, 2012.
3. Early coordination on traffic counting
Mr. Morrison explained that traffic counts will be taken in March of 2012.
4. Early discussion on future land use and planned facilities
Mr. Morrison discussed the plan to meet with local officials for information for the MTP update, and
using local plans such as the Cole County Master Plan and the Holts Summit Comprehensive Plan as sources
Of future projects, programs, and forecasts.
B. Review of the TIP update reflecting amendments
Mr. Morrison explained that the FY2011-2014 T1P has been updated to reflect amendments and that it is
available to review on the CAMPO website.

--Mr. Landwehr gave an update on the Business 50 West improvements project.
Holts Summit
--Mr. Crane gave an update on the S. Summit Drive sidewalk project.
Jefferson City
--Mr. Lockwood provided updates on the greenway trail project from Lincoln University to Aurora Park
and the Adrian's Island Access project.
--Mr. Morasch gave an update on the E. McCarty Street project and the Missouri Boulevard sidewalk
project between Kansas Street and Fleisinger Road.
Missouri Department of Transportation
--Mr. Engelbrecht gave an update on the Rex Whitton Expressway project and the Highway 179
interchange at the new St:. Mary's Health Center,
Next Meeting Date - Thursday, March 1, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. in the Boone/Bancroft Room #200.
