HomeMy Public PortalAbout20110209minutesMINUTES Board of Electrical Examiners and Review Jefferson City, Missouri February 9, 2011 Members Present: Mark Lueckenhoff Dave Steinman Bill Stockton Ron Davenport Dave Griffith Members Absent: Ray Fink The Electrical Board of Examiners and Review met at 5:00 p.m., February 9, 2011, in the Small Conference Room of the John G. Christy Municipal Building. The meeting was called to order by Bill Stockton. Approval of Minutes The minutes of the December 8, 2010 meeting were approved as presented. Review Application for Master electrical exam for Brandon Miranda Application for master electrical examination for Brandon Miranda was reviewed and a motion was made by Mark Lueckenhoff to approve the applicant. The motion was seconded by Dave Steinman. Motion carried on a voice vote. Review Application for Master license for Bryan C. Motley Application for master license for John Bryan Motley was reviewed and a motion was made by Dave Steinman to approve the applicant. The motion was seconded by Mark Lueckenhoff and passed on a voice vote. Review Application for Master license for Jason Boothe Application for master license for Jason Boothe was reviewed. Mr. Boothe was to appear or supply additional documentation but did not do so. Dave Steinman made a motion to deny the applicant due to insufficient proof of required hours. Mark Lueckenhoff seconded the motion and it carried on a voice vote. Review Application for Electrical Contractor license for Vision Electric, St. Charles, MO An application for an electrical contractors license by Edward Ross of Vision Electric was reviewed and a motion was made by Dave Steinman to deny the application due to insufficient documentation. The motion was seconded by Mark Lueckenhoff and carried on a voice vote. Review Applications for Journeyman electrical exams An application for Journeyman exam for Bradley Broman was reviewed. Mr. Broman supplied proof of 9040 hours as an apprentice. A motion was made to approve his application by Dave Steinman and seconded by Mark Lueckenhoff. The motion passed on a voice vote. Applications for Journeyman examination for the following IBEW apprentices were reviewed: Gavin Jones, Clinton Stundebeck, Brian Buschjost, Aaron Willingham, Nicholas Turner, Peter Loaiza and Jacob Massman. Each applicant supplied proof of required hours. Dave Steinman Board of Electrical Examiners and Review, City of Jefferson February 9, 2011 Page 2 made a motion to approve each applicant and Mark Lueckenhoff seconded each motion. Each motion carried by voice vote. No Old Business New Business Ronald Kendall applied for a Master license. Mr. Kendall's application was reviewed and found to have had sufficient hours before having been sponsored by Columbia to take the Prometric Electrical Master Examination, April 26, 2010. Mr. Kendall received a passing score at that time. Dave Steinman made a motion to approve the application and Mark Lueckenhoff seconded it. The motion carried on a voice vote.
