Board of Electrical Examiners and Review

The Electrical Board of Examiners and Review met at 5:00 p.m., July 11, 2012, in the Small
Conference Room of the John G. Christy Municipal Building. The meeting was called to order by
Bill Stockton.
Approval of Minutes
The minutes of the May 2, 2012 meeting were presented and approved with an unanimous vote.
Review Applications for Journeyman Electrical License for Kevin Bax & Lankford Hewitt
An application for a Journeyman exam for Kevin Bax was reviewed and a motion to approve
was made by Ray Fink and seconded by David Steinman. The motion carried on a voice vote.
An application for Journeymen exam for Lankford Hewitt was reviewed and Chris Bruemmer
made a motion to approve and it was seconded by David Steinman. The motion carried on a
voice vote.
Old Business
There was no old business.
New Business
a. Bill Stockton brought up for discussion when to change over to the 2011 NEC for the
Prometric Exams. David Steinman made a motion that January 1, 2013 would be the
date for implementation of the 2011 NEC for exams.
b. An application for Master license for Austin Tipton was reviewed and a motion to
approve was made by David Steinman and seconded by Chris Bruemmer. The motion
was approved by voice vote.
c. Ron Davenport presented a proposal to the Board to add 3 new members to the
Electrical Board. The Board members had no objection and Ron said that he would
inform the committee reviewing the ordinance change.
Set Date for Next Scheduled Meeting. A tentative date of September 5, 2012 was set for the
next meeting.
Adjournment.
With no further business the meeting was adjourned.
