The Electrical Board of Examiners and Review met at 5:00 p.m., January 9, 2013, in the Small
Conference Room of the John G. Christy Municipal Building. The meeting was called to order
by Bill Stockton.
Approval of Minutes
The minutes of the September 12, 2012 meeting were approved as presented.
Review Applications for Journeyman License for Nathan Winters, Lance Gorman, and
Jay Ayers
• An application for a Journeyman exam for Nathan Winters was reviewed and a motion to
approve was made by Chris Bruemmer and seconded by David Steinman. The motion
carried on a voice vote.
• An application for a Journeyman exam for Lance Gorman was reviewed and Ray Fink
made a motion to approve the application. The motion was seconded by Richard Green.
The motion carried on a voice vote.
• An application for a Journeyman license for Jay Ayers was reviewed and a motion to
approve was made by Chris Bruemmer and was seconded by Jim Gooch. The motion
carried on a voice vote.
Review Application for Master License for Justin Hoskins
An application for a Master license for Justin Hoskins was reviewed and a motion to deny due to
the applicant not providing proof of the Prometric Master Electrical Examination score was
made by David Steinman. The motion was seconded by Ray Fink and it passed on a voice
vote.
Old Business.
There was no old business.
New Business
An application for Master license for James Herslebs was reviewed and a motion to
approve was made by Jim Gooch and seconded by David Steinman. The motion carried
on a voice vote.

An application for a Master License for Marion Jarvis was reviewed and a motion to
approve was made by David Steinman and seconded by Chris Bruemmer. The motion
carried on a voice vote.
Jim Gooch asked that the Board consider changing the Apprentice to Journeyman ratio
from 1 Apprentice to 1 Journeyman to 2 Apprentices to 1 Journeyman. After discussing
the issue Bill asked that it be tabled until the next meeting to give everyone time to
consider it.
Set Date for Next Scheduled Meeting
The date for the next meeting was set for March 6, 2013, at 5:00 p.m.
Adjournment
With no further business the meeting was adjourned.
