The Electrical Board of Examiners and Review met at 5:00 p.m., October 9, 2013 in the Small
Conference Room of the John G. Christy Municipal Building. The meeting was called to order
by Bill Stockton.
Approval of Minutes
The minutes of the August 14, 2013 meeting were approved as presented.
Review Application for Master Electrical Examination for Matthew Wells
The Board discussed that the Ordinance requires an applicant for a Master examination to have
been licensed as a Journeyman for a minimum of 4000 hours. Since Mr. Wells did not supply
proof of a Journeyman license he does not meet the requirement set forth by the ordinance.
David Steinman made a motion to deny the applicant due to the applicant not having a
Journeyman license. The motion was seconded by Jim Gooch and carried on a voice vote.
Review Applications for Journeyman Electrical Examinations for James McNail, Courtney
Schaefer, and Jeffrey Stegeman
• An application for Journeyman examination for James McNail was reviewed and a
motion to approve was made by Ray Fink and seconded by David Steinman. The
motion carried on a voice vote.
• An application for Journeyman examination for Courtney Schaefer was reviewed and a
motion to approve was made by Chris Bruemmer and seconded by Sam Thomas. The
motion carried on a voice vote.
• An application for Journeyman examination for Jeffrey Stegeman was reviewed and a
motion to approve was made by Jim Gooch and seconded by David Steinman. The
motion carried on a voice vote.
Review Application for Journeyman Electrical License for Lance Buchanan
An application for Journeyman license for Lance Buchanan was reviewed and a motion to
approve was made by Jim Gooch and seconded by Ray Fink. The motion carried on a voice
vote.
Old Business
There was no Old Business.

New Business
An application for Master license from Todd Viehland was reviewed. A motion to approve the
application was made by David Steinman and seconded by Ray Fink. The motion carried on a
voice vote.
Set Date for Next Scheduled Meeting
The date for the next meeting was tentatively set for December 4, 2013 at 5:00 p.m.
Adjournment
With no further business the meeting was adjourned.
