1. Call to Order and Introduction of Members, Council Liaison and Staff
The Vice Chair and 4 regular members were present. The meeting was called to order at 6:37
p.m., and it was determined a quorum was present.
2. Approval of Minutes from the Regular Meeting of January 19, 2012
Sister Camilla moved to adopt the minutes from January 19, 2012 as written Mr. Winkelmann
second.
3. Recycling Update
Lauren Hershey gave an update on the City's Recycling. She reported that the Downtown area
would soon have recycling bins that would accept plastic bottles and aluminum cans.
4. Environmental Outreach
The commission discussed activities that could be done to increase awareness of the City's
programs and topics they would be interested in learning more about.
5. EQC Ordinance Changes Review
Mrs. McMillan presented the changes to the commission and requested input. The commission
made additional comments and Mrs. McMillan would insert them into the draft. Sister Camilla
made a motion to forward the corrections upon completion to the Administrative Committee. Mr.
Stacey second.
6. Other Business
None.
7. Adjourn.
Mr. Stacey made a motion to adjourn and Sister Camilla second. The meeting adjourned at 7:35
p.m.
