Call to Order and Introduction of Members, Council Liaison and Staff
The Chairman and 6 regular members were present. The meeting was called to order at 6:35
p.m., and it was determined a quorum was present.
Adoption of Agenda
Ms. Barkhaus moved to adopt the agenda as written and Mr. Lester second.
Approval of Minutes from the Regular Meeting of May 17, 2012
Ms. Barkhaus moved to adopt the minutes from May 17, 2012 as written Mr. Winkelmann second.
Recycling Update
Ms. Hershey gave an update on the Recycling Programs. The recycling trailers were used at
Thursday Night Live events. The single stream recycling rate is at 28%.
Environmental Outreach
The Commission discussed ways to provide education to the community and support recycling
programs and other environmental activities.
Livable Streets Advisory Board Duties
Mrs. McMillian introduced the commission to their duties as the Livable Streets Advisory
Committee.
Other Business
None.

Ms. Nelson made a motion to adjourn and Mr. Winkelmann second. The meeting adjourned at
8:00 P.M.
