1. Call to Order and Introduction of Members, Council Liaison and Staff
The Chairman and 4 regular members were present. The meeting was called to order at 6:35
p.m., and it was determined a quorum was present.
2. Adoption of Agenda
Mr. Lester moved to adopt the agenda as written and Ms. Barkhaus second.
3. Approval of Minutes from the Regular Meeting of November 15,2013
Mr. Winkelman moved to approve the minutes as amended and Mr. Lester second.
4. Recycling Update
Ms. Henry gave an update on recycling. The commission asked for a spreadsheet that they
could look at so they could compare changes in recycling patterns throughout the years.
5. Environmental Outreach and Education
The Commission moving the Make Your Mark Campaign moving forward to the Public Works and
Planning Committee so they were familiar with the project. Discussed the next meeting would be
better dedicated to next steps and information planning.
6. Non -Motorized Transportation Plan Update
The Committee discussed the Shared Road Route. The EQC expressed a desire for further
review of the route because of safety concerns on the Rock Ridge Rd. area. The EQC does not
support the resolution as written because of pending safety concerns.
7. Other Business
Potential future meeting locations were discussed that could involve tours of area facilities.
8. Adjourn.
Mr. Winkelmann made a motion to adjourn and Ms. Barkhaus second. The meeting adjourned at
8:20 p.m.
