1. Call to Order and Introduction of Members, Council Liaison and Staff
The Chairman and 5 regular members were present. It was determined a quorum was present
and the meeting was called to order at 6:31 p.m.
2. Approval of Agenda
Ms. Barkhaus made a motion to approve the agenda as written and Mr. Higgins second. Motion
passes.
3. Approval of Minutes from the Regular Meeting of May 21, 2013
Ms. Barkhaus made a motion to approve the minutes as written and Mr. Winkelmann second.
Motion passes.
4. Recycling Update
Ms. Henry gave an update on recycling programs.
5. Environmental Outreach and Education
The Commission members discussed the possibility to work with Jefferson City Magazine. The
Commission could assist in providing information for stories and informational pieces.
S. Non -Motored Transportation Plan Update
No Update at this time.
7. Other Business
There was no other business.

Ms. Barkhaus made a motion to adjourn and Ms. Nelson second. The meeting adjourned at 7:25
p.m.
