1. Call to Order and Introduction of Members, Council Liaison and Staff
The Chairman and 5 regular members were present. It was determined a quorum was present
and the meeting was called to order at 6:35p.m.
2. Approval of Agenda
Ms. Barkhaus made a motion to approve the agenda as written and Mr. Lester second. Motion
passes.
3. Approval of Minutes from the Regular Meeting of July 16, 2013
Mr. Higgins made a motion to approve the minutes as written and Mr. Lester second. Motion
passes.
4. Recycling Update
Ms. Henry gave an update on recycling programs.
6. Environmental Outreach and Education
The Commission discussed various ways to increase awareness of recycling opportunities and
Increased education throughout the community.
6. Non -Motorized Transportation Plan Update
No Update at this time.
7. Other Business
There was no other business.
8. Adjourn.
Mr. Lester made a motion to adjourn and Ms. Barkhaus second. The meeting adjourned at 7:45
p.m.
