1. Call to Order and Introduction of Members, Council Liaison and Staff
The meeting was called to order at 12:45 p.m. by Carol Davit. Prior to the beginning of the
meeting, Glenn Miller, Building Inspector, discussed building codes with the members.
2. Approval of Agenda
Ms. Nelson made a motion to approve the agenda and Mr. Higgins second.
3. Approval of Minutes from the Regular Meeting of December 10, 2013
Mr. Higgins moved to approve the minutes with an update of time change and Ms. Barkhaus
second.
4. Recycling Update
Ms. Henry gave an update on recycling programs and presented information from the 2013
Recycling Report.
5. Environmental Outreach and Education
The Commission discussed various ways to increase awareness of recycling opportunities and
increased education throughout the community.
6. Non -Motorized Transportation Plan Update
No Update at this time.
7. Other Business
There was no other business.
8. Adjourn.
Ms. Barkhaus made a motion to adjourn and Mr. Winkelmann second. The meeting ended at
1:10 P.M.
