Christy Municipal Building, 320 East McCarty Street, Jefferson City, MO. The meeting was called to order by Bill Case, Co -Chair. APPROVAL OF MINUTES Commissioners reviewed the minutes from the March 13, 2012 meeting. Motion was made to approve the minutes by Mark Schreiber with Ed Meyers noting the correction of recording secretary to Art Langston, seconded by Jenny Smith. Approval vote was unanimous. Commissioners reviewed the minute from the June 12, 2012 meeting. A motion to approve was made by Ed Meyers and seconded by Jenny Smith. The approval vote was unanimous. COUNCIL ISSUES Councilman Ralph Bray reported that the Council is awaiting the budget from the mayor. It is expected late this month or early next month. CITY ISSUES Ron Davenport introduced guest Dan Davis who is in charge of demolition permits for the City. 106 Reviews for 304 E. Ashley and 414 Cherry Street were discussed. These represent rehabilitation plans for these properties supported by Federal Grant money to correct city code deficiencies. Motion to approve reviews was made by Mark Schreiber and seconded by Ed Meyers. Approval vote was unanimous. DEMOLITION APPLICATONS There were no demolition applications. Minutes of the Regular Meeting of the City of Jefferson Historic Preservation Commission • -July 10, 2012 OLD BUSINESS a. A report on The Old Town Meeting, held June 19, 2012, was given. The meeting was conducted by Phil Freeman and was well attended. City and bank programs to assist homeowners were discussed. NEW BUSINESS There was no new business. DATES TO REMEMBER a. The next meeting will be scheduled for August 14, 2012. b. The Missouri Preservation Conference will be October 24-26, 2012 in University City. The Commissioners were reminded to review the HPC website for ideas for improvements. These will be placed on the agenda for the next meeting. A brief discussion was held to consider a Facebook page as a medium to reach out to the community. ADJOURNMENT Motion was made by Jenny Smith and seconded by Art Hernandez to adjourn.
